Tonight I had a meeting at church so I thought this would be a great time to stop and take a picture of the old Barn on White Bear Ave in Maplewood. This is the area where the Ramsey County Fair takes place and during Halloween it is transformed into Ramsey County Fright Farm. Anyway, as I was walking around the building I noticed there was a National Registry of Historic Places plaque posted on one of the walls. This barn was actually the Ramsey County Poor Farm Barn, it was built in 1918 and served as home and work for the indigent in Ramsey County.
