Day 30 - Inside Bandana Square

This is the hallway to the Model Train Museum inside Bandana Square. The building was constructed in 1885 and once housed a Northern Pacific Railway repair shop. In 1984, the building was converted to an enclosed shopping mall keeping the historic railroad theme. I remember going to an awesome ice cream parlor in this mall when I was in college. For whatever reason, Bandana Square did not succeed as a shopping mall and is now transformed into office space.

Day 29 - The Cross

Day 28 - The Simpsons

Does this sky look familiar? The cloud formation reminds me of the Simpsons' sky.

Day 27 - Reflections of a Lone Mallard

This is the Amphitheater pond in Silver Lake Village located in St. Anthony. These condos and pond were put in after the demolition of the old Apache Plaza Mall.

Day 26 - The Back Lot

This is the parking lot behind Nelson Cheese & Deli off of Como Avenue.

Day 22 - Old Glory

I like how the trees seemed to surround the flag and how everything is black and white except the US flag and the finial.

Day 21 - Thin Ice

Before I came to this little area there were "Danger Thin Ice" signs all along the trail. Happy second day of Spring!

Day 20 - It's Always Coca-Cola

This is actually the first interesting thing I saw this morning. I snapped this shot while at the gas station. Then on my way to work I saw another Coke truck and a Coke Billboard.

Day 19 - That Cool Refreshing Drink

I cut back on the amount of soda, (yeah I said soda instead of pop), that I've been drinking. So this glass of Sprite was really good.

Day 18 - A Little Extra Energy

Now, this is how you stay alert during the workday. One of the guys on my team received a case of Monster Energy drink today.

Day 17 - Splurge

Today, I splurged by having a huge Cream Puff. It looks like I'll be hitting the gym tomorrow.

Day 12 - Last One Out

Day 9 - Monday Night Pizza

Day 6 - Signs of Spring?

Piles of Dirty snow, muddy ponds, brown grass...not necessary the first thoughts that comes to mind when thinking about Spring.

This mall is located on Highway 96 and Lexington in Shoreview, MN.

Day 3 - Parking Lot at 6:00 pm

It's interesting how many cars are still in the lot at 6:00. I feel like I'm sneaking out early.

Day 2 - A Splash of Green in my Beige World

Why is it that most office spaces are either a dull gray or beige? This Peace Lily sits on a little table outside my cube, its sole purpose is to provide a splash of color amongst the beige cubes, walls, and floor.

Day 1 - Cheers, the Challenge Begins!

Today I had a wonderful brunch at Lake Elmo Inn with my friend Sue. I made the mistake of mentioning to her that I participated in a Photo a Day Challenge during December 2008. She challenged me to join her in a 365 Picture a Day Project. I accepted the challenge and will attempt to post 306 photos by the end of this year.
