The New York Life Eagle in Summit Ave. Lookout Park
In 1890, the sculpture of the eagle was originally above the main entrance of the New York Life Insurance Company located in downtown St. Paul. In 1967, when the New York Life building was demolished the sculpture was installed outside the Pioneer Building parking ramp. After being restored in 1999, the sculpture was finally placed in Lookout Park in June, 2004.
